Second chapter

The doll was beautiful as an angel. Prince Rasiel liked her, and adopted her at once. He called him Fran.
He made her make princesses' dresses, covered her jewels. He slept with her, he did her hair, dressed her. He took care of her.
But she had a defect, a terrible defect which the son of the monarch couldn't support.
She was dumb.
Rasiel tried all the stratagems. He caressed her, cherished her. He also threatened it. But she didn't speak. She seemed indifferent to everything, and nothing of it he made didn't appear to touch her really. And she never smiled.
Deprived, the prince eventually leaves her in a corner, and as time goes by, she is forgotten.
The dust accumulated above, tarnishing the brightness of the cheeks and her hair.
Nevertheless, the doll had a heart. She felt feelings, but did not show them. And when the prince abandoned her, she felt very alone.
She resigned herself and waited. Years passed …
